Ricássio Costa
About
I grew up in the metropolitan area of Fortaleza, Ceará, always driven by a deep curiosity, especially for anything electronic. That fascination intensified in my teens through the immersive world of MMORPGs, drawing me closer to software and computers. This path wasn't immediate; I started with a technical degree in Computer Networks, but quickly realized that my true calling was in development.
After a brief professional detour into network infrastructure, I committed fully to my passion, pursuing a degree in Information Systems (Uni7) and dedicating two years to becoming a solid programmer. My breakthrough came in 2020, joining an international project at the Atlantic Institute. This work was recognized, leading me to a direct role at HPE two years later.
My time at HPE has been a period of intense learning. I've had the chance to work on the full spectrum of development, from R&D features to production systems used by thousands, navigating both complex legacy platforms and greenfield projects with cutting-edge technologies. This breadth of experience, spanning small agile teams to multi-organizational collaboration, has shaped me into a resilient, solution-focused engineer.
Today, my expertise is rooted in building secure cloud services, with a specialization in Identity and Access Management (IAM). To ensure my designs are future-proof, I'm currently furthering my knowledge with an MBA in Software Architecture (Full Cycle, 2024–2026). I'm excited to continue this journey, connecting robust architecture, top-tier security, and real-world business needs.
